Giovanni Rosso

Welcome! I am a PhD Economics candidate at the University of Oxford and a  PhD Intern at the Swiss National Bank. I was formerly PhD Intern at the Bank of England. I am supervised by Prof. Andrea Ferrero.

My main research interests lie in the fields of international macroeconomics and monetary economics , particularly in understanding the drivers of dominant currencies and the determinants of international risk-sharing.

Before starting my PhD, I obtained an Mphil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Philosophy and Logic from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
